About: The Federación Nacional de Asociaciones ALCER (Association for the Fight against Kidney Diseases), was established in 1976. In 1981 it became a National Federation and in 1984 was declared of Public Utility. It currently has a total of 50 federated associations and 4 affiliated entities, spread throughout the Spanish territory representing the nearly 200.000 people in kidney replacement therapy and those who have chronic kidney disease in Spain.
