ESOT-ETPO Alliance Network

The ESOT-ETPO (European Transplant Patient Organisation) Alliance Network is a coalition of national and international patient organisations from across Europe, united by a shared commitment to people living with conditions where transplantation is a treatment option.

Brought together by ESOT and led by a Steering Group of Network representatives, the Alliance works collaboratively to strengthen patient advocacy, education, and engagement, keeping the patient voice central to advancing transplant care and outcomes.

The network plays a vital role in:

  • Sharing knowledge and resources by facilitating the exchange of best practices among member patient associations

  • Identifying common challenges faced by transplant patients across Europe and developing collective, practical solutions

  • Amplifying local voices by providing the Steering Group with insight into regional and community-level patient needs

  • Supporting patient education through the development of programmes and materials that inform and empower transplant patients

  • Promoting patient engagement through co-production in guideline development and research

  • Championing the initiative by acting as ambassadors for ESOT’s Patient Inclusion Initiative within their own communities
