ESOT PATIENT INCLUSION INITIATIVE

The European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) through its Patient Inclusion Initiative works with a network of transplant patient organisations throughout Europe to foster cooperation and dialogue between patients and healthcare professionals, to ensure patient representation and participation in ESOT activities, and to promote health and quality of life among the transplant population. This network is known as the ESOT-ETPO (European Transplant Patient Organisations) Alliance.

The Patient Inclusion Initiative is designed to integrate the patient voice into ESOT’s professional activities (e.g., congresses, guidelines, research agendas), while respecting the independent role of patient organisations.
